Create With Stamping Friends-Inspiration Monday 442

Sweet Words & Labels Dies Artist Palette!

Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges.  This week’s inspiration challenge is an artist studio full of colors:

I see so many blues, purples and greens that are close to some of our Stampin’ Up! colors. I used the Sweet Words & Labels to cut out label shapes and colorful leaves to resemble an artist palette. I am a painter so I really was drawn to the artist palette and recreated it with diecut leaves to use in place of the paints:

Not only does the Sweet Words & Frames Dies include beautiful layering shapes, you’ll also find the pretty leaf dies that I used to replicate the painters palette:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

  • Stamps: A Rainbow Of Thanks (now retired)
  • Inks: Pecan Pie
  • Cardstock: Lost Lagoon, Pecan Pie, Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Shaded Spruce, Old Oive, Basic White
  • Designer Paper: Beautiful Gallery
  • Tools & Accessories: Sweet Words & Labels Dies, Phrases & Frames Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Card Recipe:

  • Card Base: Lost Lagoon Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
  • Layer 2: Pecan Pie Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
  • Layer 3: Beautiful Gallery Designer Paper 5 x 3-3/4. Glue to card front.
  • Layer 4: Beautiufl Gallery Designer Paper cut with the 4-1/8″ long die from the Sweet Words & Labels Dies. Stamp the swirly image from A Rainbow Of Thanks stamp set (now retired) with Pecan Pie Ink repeatedly on the die shape. Glue to card front at an angle.
  • Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment from A Rainbow Of Thanks stamp set (now retired) with Pecan Pie Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Cut with the small label shape. Glue to paint palette in the center with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Leaves: Cut 3 leaves with the purples and 3 leaves with the greens and glue to paint paletter around the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Stamp the dotted image around the paint palette with Pecan Pie Ink.
