Sketch Challenge Week With Framed Violets!

It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends and we have a Sketch Challenge this week. I hope you’ll try using this sketch on a card you create:

I used a new collection of products that will be available on July 1st and guess what? It’s the same products from our newest Create Collection that you’ll see at the bottom of this post. Here’s my card for this week:

You can stamp violets, you can cut violets and the paper with printed violets is gorgeous too!


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Framed Violets
- Cardstock: Highland Heather, Peaceful Pine
- Designer Paper: Violet Dreams
- Inks: Gorgeous Grape
- Tools & Accessories: Framed Violets Dies, Spotlight On Nature Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Highland Heather Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Peaceful Pine Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Violet Dreams Designer Paper 4-3/4 x 3. Glue to card base even at the left with the Peaceful Pine layer.
- Layer 4: Violet Dreams Designer Paper cut with the 3-1/4″ circle from Spotlight On Nature Dies. Stamp the flower image with Gorgeous Grape Ink. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals 3/4″ from the left side.
- Sentiment: Highland Heather Cardstock 2-3/4 x 1/2. Stamp the sentiment with Gorgeous Grape Ink. Glue to the right side of the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals on the right.
- Leaves: Diecut the 3 leaves with the dies and Peaceful Pine Cardstock. Glue two of the leaves to the stamped flowers and one tucked under the sentiment. All with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Flowers: Cut 2 flowers with the die and Highland Heather Cardstock. Glue to stamped flowers with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
