New In Colors Theme!
Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week. New In Colors is our them for June and it just so happens that June has 5 Tuesdays and we have 5 new In Colors too!
This week I am featuring Crisp Cantaloupe for my new In Color:
I used Crisp Cantaloupe Cardstock, Ink, Designer Paper and Bling!
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Framed Violets
- Inks: Crisp Cantaloupe
- Cardstock: Crisp Cantaloupe, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Bloom Boutique
- Tools & Accessories: Framed Violets Dies, 2026-2028 In Color Butterflies, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, Simpy Scored Scoring Tool
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Crisp Cantaloupe Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Bloom Boutique Designer Paper 5 x 3-3/4. Glue to white layer.
- Layer 4: Basic White Cardstock 4-1/4 x 3. Follow these steps:
- Using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool, add two diagonal lines about halfway on the right side down to the bottom.
- Using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool, create vertical lines from the diagonal lines to the bottom all the way across.
- Glue white layer to designer paper 1/2″ from the right edge with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Flowers: Stamp the flowers image on Basic White Cardstock with Crisp Cantaloupe Ink. Cut with the die and glue to the bottom left corner of the white layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Crisp Cantaloupe Cardstock 2 x 1/2. Stamp the sentiment with Crisp Cantaloupe Ink. Cut the top and bottom close to the wording. Glue to the right side of the white layer and layered over the flowers with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add 2026-2028 In Color Butterflies to the white background.
