Botanicals Theme Last Week!

Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week. This is our theme for this month:

Stampin’ Up! always has the prettiest stamps, dies and designer paper prints to make this theme easy to fulfill. This week, I used the Lily Of The Valley Bundle, Valley In Bloom Designer Paper and the Phreases & Frames Dies:

I used a partial card base and added a framed layer on the front. You can see close-ups of the pretty flowers and leaves with the products that I used this week:



Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Lily Of The Valley
- Inks: Shaded Spruce
- Blends: Granny Apple Green
- Cardstock: Fresh Freesia, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Valley In Bloom
- Tools & Accessories: Lily Of The Valley Dies, Phrases & Frames Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Fresh Freesia Cardstock 8-1/4 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Valley In Bloom Designer Paper 4 x 2-1/2. Glue to front flap.
- Inside Layer: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to the inside.
- Layer 3: Fresh Freesia Cardstock cut with the frame die 4 x 2-1/2. Glue to the flap with Stampin’ Dimensionals at the top.
- Layer 4: Valley In Bloom Designer Paper 3-1/4 x 1-3/4. Glue to frame layer.
- Sentiment: Fresh Freesia Cardstock 1-1/4 x 5/8. Stamp the sentiment with Shaded Spruce Ink to the left. Glue 3/4″ from the bottom of the frame layer and to the left with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Flower: Stamp the flower image with Shaded Spruce Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Color the leaves with Stampin’ Blends. Cut with the die and glue to the right of the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
