Color Challenge Week With Fern & Flora!

It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends and we have a team Color Challenge this week. These are the three colors we are using plus neutrals if needed:

This is the card I created using these colors with a little bit of white added in. Don’t these colors work well together?

I added a few ferns, a designer paper layer and a little bit of bling:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Fern & Flora
- Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Basic White, Petal Pink
- Designer Paper: Moonlit Flora
- Inks: Peaceful Pine
- Tools & Accessories: Fern & Flora Dies, Ferns & Flora 3D Embossing Folder, 2026-2028 In Color Dots, Three Banner Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Petal Pink Cardstock 7 x 4-1/4. Score at 5-1/2. Set aside.
- Card Base 2: Petal Pink Cardstock 4-1/4 x 1-1/2. Set aside.
- Layer 2: Crumb Cake Cardstock, 2 pieces 4 x 1-1/4. Emboss with the Ferns & Flora 3D Embossing Folder. Glue to the front flap of Card Base 1 and also to Card Base 2.
- Layer 3: Petal Pink Cardstock 5 x 3-1/4. Using Card Base 1, lay Card Base 2 even with the bottom edge. Glue Layer 2 to both the card base and the strip at the bottom.
- Layer 4: Moonlit Flora Designer Paper 4-3/4 x 3. Glue to petal pink layer.
- Ferns: Use the large fern die to cut 2 with Basic White Cardstock. Glue to designer paper flat.
- Ferns: Use the smaller fern die to cut 1 with Crumb Cake Cardstock. Add one Stampin’ Dimensional under the bottom 3rd and glue over the white ferns.
- Sentiment: Petal Pink Cardstock strip 1/2″ wide. Trim the right end with the Three Banner Punch. Stamp the sentiment with Peaceful Pine Ink. Cut the left end so the strip measures about 1-3/4″ long. Glue over the crumb cake fern to cover the Stampin’ Dimensional.
- Bling: Add 2026-2028 In Color Dots to the ferns and designer paper background.
- Inside Layer: Add a layer of Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4 to the inside of the card base.
