Botanicals Theme with Velvet Meadow Designer Paper!
Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week. This is our theme for this month:
An easy way to create a Clean & Simple card is to let the designer paper do all of the work for you. I even stamped the sentiment direct to paper this time:
The flowers on the designer paper are so pretty that it’s always hard to cover them up anyway. The tiny white flowers are actually velvet and the package used is the Velvet Meadow Designer Paper:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Scalloped Blooms
- Inks: Peaceful Pine
- Cardstock: Peaceful Pine, Berry Burst
- Designer Paper: Velvet Meadow
- Tools & Accessories: Lazy Daisy Embossing Folder, Dreamy Flowers, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Peaceful Pine Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Berry Burst Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Emboss with the Lazy Daisy Embossing Folder. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Velvet Meadow Designer Paper 4-3/4 x 3-1/2. Stamp the sentiment at the top right with Peaceful Pine Ink. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Dreamy Flowers in among the printed flowers on the designer paper.
