Critters Or Insects Theme!

Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week. This is our last week using this theme:

I used scraps of designer paper to create some weaved banners and then added some cute critters on my sentiment layer:

The birds are from the Turtle-y Awesome Bundle and the designer paper is from the Turtle-y Cute pack:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

• Stamps:Turtle-y Awesome
• Inks: Garden Green
• Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Basic White
• Designer Paper: Turtle-y Cute
• Tools & Accessories: Turtle-y Awesome Dies, Paper Snips, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals

Card Recipe:

• Card Base: Melon Mambo Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
• Layer 2: Melon Mambo Cardstock 5 x 3-3/4. Glue to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Banners: Cut 4 Designer Paper prints to measure 3-3/4 x 1. Trim both ends into a banner shape with Paper Snips. Glue the banners weaved into a square shape to layer 2.
• Sentiment: Cut Basic White Cardstock with the circle die. Stamp the sentiment at the bottom with Garden Green Ink. Glue circle to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Birds: Stamp the birds image with Garden Green Ink on Crushed Curry Cardstock. Cut with the die. Glue above the sentiment with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
