Perfectly Pears & Painterly Pears!

Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is a basket full of delicious looking fruit:

When I decided I wanted to use the pears from the fruit basket as my inspiration, I chose the Perfectly Pears Bundle & Painterly Pears Designer Paper. Those products are now sold out and retired but here’s what I did with them:

I used two different patterns for two of my designer paper layers and doubled up on my pear images:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Perfectly Pears
- Inks: Secret Sea, Lemon Lolly, Mossy Meadow
- Cardstock: Secret Sea, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Painterly Pears
- Tools & Accessories: Perfectly Pears Dies, Linen Thread, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Secret Sea Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Painterly Pears Designer Paper 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Secret Sea Cardstock 4-7/8 x 3-5/8. Glue to card front.
- Layer 4: Painterly Pears Designer Paper4-3/4 x 3-1/2. Glue to card front.
- Pears: Stamp 2 pears and 2 leaves with Mossy Meadow Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Stamp the inside of the pears with Lemon Lolly Ink and the leaves with Mossy Meadow Ink stamped on scrap paper first and then over the branches for a lighter ink color. Cut with the dies. Assemble the pears and branches together. Glue pears to the left side of the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bows: Create 2 bows with the Linen Thread. Glue to each pear.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentimen with Secret Sea Ink in the white space.
