Punch Art & Gathering Moments!
Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is a colorful image:
And I used some of the colors on my card with punches and dry embossing:
The 2″ Circle Punch was my go-to in adding all of the different colored circles to my white layer. Once I had them all glued and trimmed on each side, I dry embossed the whole layer with the Dotted Circles 3D Embossing Folder:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Gathering Moments
- Inks: Early Espresso
- Cardstock: Pecan Pie, Azure Afternoon, Peach Pie, Strawberry Slush, Basic White
- Tools & Accessories: In Color Flat Peaerls, 2″ Circle Punch, Modern Oval Punch, Dotted Circles 3D Embossing Folder, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Pecan Pie Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock 4-3/4 x 3-1/2. Set aside.
- Circles: Use the 2″ Circle Punch to cut circles with Azure Afternoon, Peach Pie, Strawberry Slush Cardstocks. Layer and glue over the white layer and trim on the edges to fit. Emboss using the Dotted Circles Embossing Folder. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Pecan Pie Cardstock with Early Espresso Ink. Cut with the Modern Oval Punch. Glue 1-1/4″ from the top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add In Color Flat Pearls to some of the circles.
