Hoppy Easter Theme With Easter Basket!

Hello and welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week. This is our theme for this month and our last week featuring this theme:

I created a simple layout with a few stamped images for my simple card this week:

The tiny chick image is so adorable positioned between two Easter eggs:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Easter Basket
- Inks: Basic Gray, Shy Shamrock
- Stampin’ Blends: Shaded Spruce, Darling Duckling
- Cardstock: Shy Shamrock, Smoky Slate, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Easter Joy
- Tools & Accessories: Easter Basket Dies, 2-3/8 Circle Punch, Linen Thread, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Snips
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Shy Shamrock Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic Gray Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Easter Joy Designer Paper 4-3/4 x 2-1/2. Use Paper Snips to create a banner shape at the bottom. Glue to card front centered.
- Layer 4: Easter Joy Designer Paper 3-1/4 x 3-1/4. Glue to card front centered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer 5: Basic White Cardstock cut with the 2-3/8 Circle Punch. Stamp the sentiment at the top with Shy Shamrock Ink. Glue to designer paper layer.
- Chick & Eggs: Stamp 1 chick and 2 eggs with Basic Gray Ink. Color the eggs with Stampin’ Blends. Cut with the dies and glue below the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Thread: Create a bow with the Linen Thread and glue to the bottom right of the circle.
