Color Challenge Week With Petals Of Beauty!

It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends . This week, we are using Old Olive, Cloud Cover and Blackberry Bliss for a Color Challenge:

I find that lots of times, people look at our Color Challenges and say “I would have never thought to put those colors together”. That’s what I love about Color Challenges, you just never know what we are going to come up with and our team projects are always so pretty!

The Petals Of Beauty Bundle and Weekend Adventures Designer Paper make pretty layers don’t they? Look at the pretty details here:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

  • Stamps: Petals Of Beauty, Sweet Bugs
  • Cardstock: Old Olive, Cloud Cover, Blackberry Bliss, Basic White
  • Designer Paper: Weekend Adventures
  • Inks: Old Olive, Cloud Cover, Blackberry Bliss
  • Tools & Accessories: Petals Of Beauty Dies, Antique Pearls, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Card Recipe:

  • Card Base: Blackberry Bliss Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
  • Layer 2: Weekend Adventures Designer Paper 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
  • Layer 3: Cloud Cover Cardstock 4-3/4 x 1. Cut 3 and glue to card base with 1/16″ between each strip.
  • Layer 4: Blackberry Bliss Cardstock 3-3/4 x 2-1/2. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Branch: Cut 1 large branch with the die and Basic White Cardstock. Glue to blackberry layer.
  • Flowers: Stamp 1 of each flower on Cloud Cover Cardstock with Cloud Cover Ink. Cut with the dies. Glue to the top of the blackberry layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Leaves: Stamp the leaf image twice on Old Olive Cardstock with Old Olive Ink. Cut with the die. Glue tucked under the flowers.
  • Small Flowers: Stamp 2 flower clusters on Basic White Cardstock with Blackberry Bliss Ink. Cut with the die. Glue below the larger flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Old Olive Cardstock 2-1/4 x 1/2 with Blackberry Bliss Ink. Glue to the left with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Bling: Add Antique Pearls to the center of each large flower.
