Patterns Theme With Peaceful Dock!

Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week. This is our theme for this month:

I chose a subtle pattern from the Autumn Toile Designer Paper for the theme this month. The stripes add a nice layer to all of my other layers for a simple card:

Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Early Espresso Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Gray Granite Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Autumn Toile Designer Paper 5-1/4 x 3-1/2. Glue to granite layer.
- Layer 4: Early Espresso Cardstock cut with the 4-3/4″ long Nested Essential Dies. Glue to card front centered.
- Layer 5: Balmy Blue Cardstock cut with the 4-1/4″ long Nested Essential Dies. Glue to espresso layer.
- Boat: Stamp the boat image on Pecan Pie Cardstock with Pecan Pie Ink. Cut with the die. Glue at an angle to card front.
- Hat: Stamp the hat image on Basic White Cardstock with Early Espresso Ink. Cut with the die and glue inside the boat.
- Book: Stamp the book image on Basic White Cardstock with Balmy Blue Ink. Cut with the die and glue inside the boat.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Gray Granite Cardstock with Early Espresso Ink. Cut with the banner shape from Stylish Shapes Dies. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
