Autumn Trees, Amber Autumn & Autumn Toile!

Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is one full of nature:

We have a huge population of deer and moose in Maine. So much so that specific dates are set aside each year for our hunters. That’s how Maine controls the animal population so it doesn’t get out of control and there are lots of car accidents involving these creatures as well.
Today I am using the Autumn Trees Bundle, a sentiment from the Amber Autumn stamp set and the Autumn Toile Designer Paper. I created this cute scenery with our inspiration photo theme:

The deer diecut is actually long on the ends and I glued it to the front of my layers and diecut everything together for the shape from the Nested Essential Dies:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Autumn Trees, Amber Autumn
- Inks: Basic Gray, Shaded Spruce
- Cardstock: Basic Gray, Old Olive, Pool Party, Pecan Pie, Smoky Slate
- Designer Paper: Autumn Toile
- Tools & Accessories: Autumn Trees Dies, Nested Essential Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Basic Gray Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Old Olive Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Autumn Toile Designer Paper 4-1/2 x 3-1/4. Glue to card front.
- Layer 4: Pool Party Cardstock 3-1/2 x 3. Follow these steps:
- Cut 2 trees with the diecut and Pecan Pie Cardstock. Glue to the bottom of the Pool Party layer side-by-side.
- Stamp the tree image on Old Olive Cardstock with Shaded Spruce Ink.
- Cut with the die and glue over the pecan trees in the center.
- Use the deer border die to cut 1 with Pecan Pie Cardstock.
- Glue over the trees with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Cut all of the layers with the Nested Essential Dies 3 x 2-3/8.
- Glue to the center of the designer paper with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Rocks: Stamp the larger rock image on Smoky Slate Cardstock with Basic Gray Ink twice. Cut with the die. Tuck and glue on each side of the deer layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on a 1/4″ strip of Pool Party Cardstock. Cut into two lines of text. Glue to the right of the deer layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
