Many Thanks With Gathering Moments!
Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is this beautiful photo:
Our Gathering Moments Bundle was a good choice, paired with the Country Woods Designer Paper. I was able to mimic the colors and layout of the inspiration photo:
I stamped a bunch of oak leaves and acorns and then started layering over a layer of the County Woods Designer Paper that I used for the background:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Gathering Moments
- Inks: Pecan Pie, Shaded Spruce
- Cardstock: Shaded Spruce, Basic Beige, Basic White
- Designer Paper: County Woods
- Tools & Accessories: Gathering Moments Dies, Low Profile Sparkle Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals, 2-3/8 Circle Punch
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Shaded Spruce Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Basic Beige Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Country Woods Designer Paper 5 x 3-3/4. Glue to card front.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Basic Beige Cardstock with Pecan Pie Ink. Cut with the 2-3/8 Circle Punch position the sentiment at the top. Cut off 1″ from the bottom of the circle to make it flat. Glue about 1″ from the left side and 1″ from the bottom.
- Leaves: Stamp 5 oak leaves with Shaded Spruce Ink. Cut with the die. Glue to card front around the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Acorns: Stamp 5 acorns with Pecan Pie Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Cut with the die and glue some to the leaves on the right flat and some to the left of the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Low Profile Sparkle Dots to the background.
