Along These Lines & An Animal Theme!

Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week and for this month, this is our theme:

The Along TheseLines stamp set was a very intriguing set to me so I had to have it. I love that the images are all created with scribbly lines like you see on my tiger below:

I decided to stamp him three times on each colored layer:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Along These Lines, Beautiful Betterflies
- Inks: Early Espresso
- Cardstock: Early Espresso, Pecan Pie, Basic Beige
- Tools & Accessories: Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Early Espresso Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 4-1/2 x 3-1/4. This will be used as a base for the three colored strips.
- Strips: Follow these steps:
- Cut 2 strips of Pecan Pie Cardstock and 1 strip of Basic Beige Cardstock 3-3/4 x 1-5/8.
- Glue all 3 strips to the white layer.
- Stamp the sentiment to the left and top of the Basic Beige Cardstock strip with Early Espresso Ink from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set.
- Stamp the tiger image on all three cardstock strips with Early Espresso Ink.
- Glue layer to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the Pecan Pie strips.
