Case The Annual Catalog With Perfectly Pears!

It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends . Our team had so much fun CASING the Annual Catalog each week during the month of July. We hope you have enjoyed viewing our projects and decided to give this a try as well. This is the sample we all cased this week:

It’s fun to use the layout of the project by substituting the designer paper and the stamp set like I did here:

I used the Perfectly Pears Bundle along with the Painterly Pears Designer Paper:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Perfectly Pears
- Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Basic White, Petal Pink
- Designer Paper: Painterly Pears
- Inks: Secret Sea, Darling Duckling, Lost Lagoon
- Stampin’ Blends: Lost Lagoon, Pecan Pie
- Tools & Accessories: Perfectly Pears Dies, Low Profile Sparkle Dots, Lost Lagoon Soft Cording, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Thick Basic White Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Painterly Pears Designer Paper 5-1/2 x 4-1/4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Painterly Pears Designer Paper 4-1/2 x 3-1/4. Glue to card front.
- Layer 4: Basic White Cardstock 4 x 2-3/4. Follow these steps:
- Stamp the two pear images with Secret Sea Ink for the outline.
- Stamp the inside of the pears with Darling Duckling Ink.
- On the small pear image, color the stem and leaves with Stampin’ Blends.
- Stamp the dotted image to the background with Secret Sea Ink. Repeat a few times.
- Glue to card front.
- Branch: Stamp the branch image for the large pear on Basic White Cardstock with Secret Sea Ink for the outline. Stamp the inside with Lost Lagoon Ink. Cut with the die and glue above the pear with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Tie a bow with the cording. Glue to the bottom of the small pears at an angle.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Petal Pink Cardstock 1-3/4 x 1/2 with Secret Sea Ink. Glue over the cording with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Low Profile Sparkle Dots among the dotted images.
