Round We Go Patriotic Celebration!
Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges and Happy 4th of July week. This week’s inspiration challenge is perfect for our country’s celebration this week:
The Round We Go Bundle was ideal to use in mimicking the inspiration photo for this week. I loved cutting all of my round and scalloped shapes with the dies:
Once all of the my diecuts were glued in place, I stamped the cluster of stars around all of them and then added some pretty star embellishments:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Round We Go
- Inks: Blueberry Bushel, Poppy Parade
- Cardstock: Blueberry Bushel, Poppy Parade, Balmy Blue, Basic White
- Tools & Accessories: Round We Go Dies, Shimmer Star Foam Stickers, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Poppy Parade Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Balmy Blue Cardstock 4-3/4 x 3-1/2. Stamp the sentiment at the bottom with Poppy Parade Ink. Set aside.
- Rounds: Cut the following with the dies:
- 2-3/8″ Scallop Circle Die with Basic White Cardstock. Glue to the top left on the Balmy Blue layer.
- 1-3/4″ Petal Die, cut one of each in Blueberry Bushel Cardstock and Poppy Parade Cardstock. Stack and glue them together and glue to the white scallop with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- 1″ Circle Die, cut one of each in Blueberry Bushel Cardstock, Poppy Parade Cardstock and Basic White Cardstock. Glue the poppy one at the top right corner overlapping the white scallop. Glue the blueberry and white to the bottom left corner of the white scallop. All three with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- 1/2″ Circle Die: Cut one with Basic White Cardstock and glue to the center of the petal shape.
- Stamp the cluster of stars image around the outside of all circles with Blueberry Bushel Ink.
- Glue layer to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Shimmer Star Foam Stickers, to the stamped stars background and to the center of each 1″ circle.
