Color Challenge Week With Jar Of Joy!

It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends and our challenge team is using these three colors this week for a Color Challenge:

I created a Book Binder Card Fold with the Jar Of Joy Stamp Set and Sweet Jar Builder Punch. I also used a pretty frame from the Sentimental Framing Dies which cuts in two pieces:

I glued the two framed pieces back in place once they were cut apart. The image that I used to fill my jar is kind of neat isn’t it?


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Jar Of Joy
- Cardstock: Petal Pink, Basic White, Cloud Cover, Cajun Craze
- Designer Paper: Regals
- Inks: Cajun Craze, VersaMark
- Tools & Accessories: Sweet Jar Builder Punch, Sentimental Framing Dies, White Ribbon, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Basics Embossing Powders, Heat Tool, Mini Glue Dots
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Petal Pink Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score at 3 & 4-1/4. Add adhesive to the small scored section and press in place to the inside of the card.
- Layer 2: Regals Designer Paper 5-1/2 x 1. Glue to the left even with the outside edge.
- Layer 3: Cajun Craze Cardstock 5-1/2 x 1/4. Glue next to the designer paper.
- Layer 4: Basic White Cardstock cut with the frame from the Sentimental Framing Dies. Glue both pieces together to card front about 1″ from the top.
- Jar: Stamp the jar image and the jar lid with Cloud Cover Ink on Cloud Cover Cardstock. Cut both images with the Sweet Jar Builder Punch. Glue the lid to the jar. Stamp the image inside the jar with Cajun Craze Ink. Glue jar to white frame about 1″ from the top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment with VersaMark Ink on Cajun Craze Cardstock 1/2″ wide. Cut into two lines of text and cut close to the ends. Glue below the jar with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the cookies inside the jar.
- Ribbon: Tie a knot with the ribbon and glue to the lid with Mini Glue Dots.
