Create With Stamping Friends-Inspiration Monday 389

June 16, 2025 Leave a Comment

It’s All About Pets This Week!

Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges.  This week’s inspiration challenge is this neat photo:

We all love our pets, whether it’s a cat or a dog! I chose this adorable doggie image from the Hugs & Healings Bundle. He cracks me up with the thermometer in his mouth and the pouty expression on his face!

After I stamped him with Early Espresso Ink, I used Stampin’ Blends to add color. I also added some little tiny paw prints all over the Basic White Cardstock layer:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

  • Stamps: Hugs & Healings
  • Inks: Early Espresso
  • Stampin’ Blends: Poppy Parade, Soft Sea Foam, Pecan Pie, Shy Shamrock
  • Cardstock: Early Espresso, Poppy Parade, Basic White
  • Designer Paper: Neutrals
  • Tools & Accessories: Hugs & Healings Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Card Recipe:

  • Card Base: Early Espresso Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
  • Layer 2: Poppy Parade Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
  • Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock 4-3/4 x 3-1/2. Stamp the paws image repeatedly on the right side half way with Early Espresso Ink. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Layer 4: Neutrals Designer Paper 4-3/4 x 1-3/4. Glue to the left side of the white layer.
  • Layer 5: Poppy Parade Cardstock cut with the 3″ circle from Stylish Shapes Dies. Glue in the center.
  • Dog: Stamp the dog image with Early Espresso Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Cut with the die. Color with Stampin’ Blends. Glue to the poppy circle at the left with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Layer 6: Basic White Cardstock cut with the 1-1/4″ circle from Stylish Shapes Dies. Stamp the sentiment with Early Espresso Ink to the right. Glue tucked under the dog.
