Dotted Circles, Inspiring Snapdragons & Sophisticated Sled!
Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is this beautiful Christmas Tree, I love the colors!
I added my own Christmas tree using the Inspiring Snapdragons Dies and chose to stick with the color combination from the inspiration photo:
I added embossing on the card base with the Dotted Circles 3D Embossing Folder and look at the pretty bird image I have sitting on the sentiment layer:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Sophisticated Sled
- Inks: Garden Green
- Cardstock: Garden Green, Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam
- Designer Paper: Take A Bow
- Tools & Accessories: Inspiring Snapdragons Dies, Petal Pink & White Diagonal Ribbon, Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots, Basic Rhinestone Jewels, Dotted Circles 3D Embossing Folder, Tear & Tape, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Soft Sea Foam Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2. Emboss the front with the Dotted Circles Embossing Folder.
- Layer 2: Take A Bow Designer Paper 4-1/4 x 3-1/2. Cut diagonally from the top left to 1″ from the bottom on the right. Glue to card front even at the bottom.
- Ribbon: Add Tear & Tape at the top of the designer paper and press the ribbon in place. Trim to fit.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Petal Pink Cardstock 3 x 3/4 with Garden Green Ink. Glue to the right about 2″ from the top.
- Bird: Stamp the bird on Petal Pink Cardstock with Garden Green Ink. Cut with the die. Glue above the sentiment with dimensionals.
- Tree: As follows:
- Base: Garden Green Cardstock cut with the die.
- Layer 2: Soft Sea Foam Cardstock cut with the die. Layer over green layer.
- Bling: Add Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots & Basic Rhinestone Jewels to the tree. Glue to card front with dimensionals.
