Reindeer Fun And A Sketch Challenge!
It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends. I hope your week is going well. Our challenge team used this sketch this week for our projects:
I loved using the Reindeer Fun Bundle combined with the Reindeer Days Designer Paper. The mother and baby image is so adorable. I colored with Stampin’ Blends:
I also added Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush to color the holly & berries. It’s so pretty in real life and hard to capture on a photo:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Reindeer Fun
- Cardstock: Shy Shamrock, Soft Sea Foam, Real Red, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Reindeer Days
- Inks: Early Espresso, Shy Shamrock
- Stampin’ Blends: Crumb Cake, Petal Pink
- Tools & Accessories: Reindeer Fun Dies, Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush, Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Shy Shamrock Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Reindeer Days Designer Paper 5 x 3-3/4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Soft Sea Foam Cardstock 4 x 2-1/2. Emboss with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder. Glue to card front 1/2″ from the bottom.
- Layer 4: Basic White Cardstock 3 x 3. Stamp the reindeer image with Early Espresso Ink. Color with Stampin’ Blends. Stamp the snowflake image several times with Shy Shamrock Ink. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals about 1/2″ from the right side and 1-1/2″ from the top.
- Layer 5: Shy Shamrock Cardstock 2-3/4 x 1/2. Stamp the sentiment with Early Espresso Ink. Glue 1/8″ from the bottom of the stamped layer.
- Holly & Berries: Cut the holly with the die and Shy Shamrock Cardstock and the berries with Real Red Cardstock. Layer and glue together. Color with Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush. Glue to the left of the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
