Best Butterflies Bundle!

Hello and welcome to a monthly blog hop by the Stampin’ Up! Trip Achievers. You are in for a treat today as you visit all that are participating. We have a pretty talented group of demonstrators. I will direct you to the next person in the hop at the bottom of my post.

For my card today, I used the Best Butterflies stamp set, Build A Butterfly Dies, Bough Punch and the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder:

I added diecut butterflies and stamped butterflies and love the combination of both. The Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder was such a great addition to use for the background layer. Here are photos of the pretty details:

Card Recipe:

• Card Base: Coastal Cabana Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
• Layer #2: Basic White Cardstock 5″ x 3-3/4″. Emboss with the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder. Glue to card front.
• Layer #3: Parakeet Party Cardstock 3-1/4″ x 3/4″. Stamp the sentiment using Basic Gray Ink. Glue to the bottom right with Stampin’ Dimensionals, about 3/4″ from the bottom.
• Butterflies: Follow these steps:
  • (1) small diecut butterfly with Parakeet Party Cardstock. Glue with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the left and above the sentiment.
  • (1) large diecut butterfly with Coastal Cabana Cardstock. Glue tucked under and to the right of the first butterfly with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • (1) stamped butterfly using Basic Gray Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Stamp on scrap paper and without reinking for a lighter color. There are three stamps for this butterfly: top of wings, bottom of wings and body. Assemble and glue to card front above the diecut butterflies and tucked under with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Branches: Use the bough punch to cut both branches using Basic White Cardstock. Tuck and glue under the sentiment and butterflies.
  • Bling: Add Adhesive-Backed Seasonal Sequins to the background.
