I have been so swamped this week with everything. Trying to get things ready outdoors for the winter months, running to appointments and I don’t even know what else. With Dave not being able to do much any longer, I have to do it all (which I don’t mind) but it sure can be exhausting.
I’ve had quite a few of you ask how Dave’s been doing. What I failed to tell you all back on May 1st when we were told there were no other cancer treatment options, was that Dave was given two months. That number remained on our minds for two months. Two long months of fear, of the unknown and spinning minds. I can’t even describe to you what that feels like. I’ve learned in these past five months to calm down, pray, hope, have faith and most of all, to trust God, because Dave is still here with me.

Dave is living one day at a time. He’s no longer the tough guy I married years ago. The cancer treatments wreaked havoc on his body and the worst part is the damage to his digestive areas. He suffers from nausea off and on which has been going on for a long time. It all started while he was undergoing the treatments. If he has a bad day, it’s usually the nausea. He also has to be careful to not exert himself so that he does not fracture any bones. He has fractured a rib on his left side a few times just trying to do tasks. All-in-all, he’s my tough guy and my little miracle. Thanks to all of your for your continued prayers.

Today I have two projects from last weekend’s World Card Making Day. I had a World Card Making Day event on my Stamp & Ink Designs Group Facebook page. We had so much fun. My Stamp & Ink Designs Team helped me all day long. I started with a video at 8 am. and we completed our event at 11 pm! I have four videos I am trying to get uploaded to YouTube and here for you on my blog.

My first WCMD class was to show how to create a masculine and a feminine card
using the Beautiful World Bundle. I thought it was appropriate to use this bundle
since we were celebrating World Card Making Day. Below you’ll find more photos:

For the feminine card, I added lots of pretty layers!

I used the globe die shape to create a neat background!

Are you ready to create? You can watch my video below.
If your electronic device will not permit it, I have included
a clickable link below the video:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
Will you be placing an order today? If so, please use the monthly hostess code when prompted at checkout to earn free products from me. If your order is $150 of more, no need to add the code so you can earn your own hostess rewards! Thank you so much for supporting a small business owner!

Debbie, you are both in my prayers.
Thinking of you both at this time.
