I was in a very creative mood for today’s card. I actually used 3 different stamp sets to create this wonderful scenery for you. I used: “The Open Sleigh”, “Lovely As A Tree” and “Christmas Blessings”.
What is your starting point for a card like this? I’ll tell you just how:

My first step was to stamp the sleigh image twice using StazOn Jet Black Ink on Water Color Paper and a 2nd one on scrap paper. Hand-cut the sleigh stamped on the scrap paper so that you can use it as a mask. Using temporary glue, glue the cut-out sleigh on top of the sleigh on your card front.
Stamp the trees using StazOn Jet Black Ink:

Now here comes the tricky part. You are going to stamp the trees again but slightly to the right using your Stamp-A-Ma-Jig. This will keep the black ink peeking out as a shadow. Once the trees are stamped, remove your mask and sprinkle White Embossing Powder on the VersaMark Ink and use your Heat Tool to set the embossing powder:

Your next step is to add color by sponging. I added Soft Suede Ink at the top for the sky and Pool Party Ink highlights the snow drifts and the two bottom corners. Add a small bow to the sleigh using Mini Glue Dots. To complete the card, I used my 2-Way Glue Pen and added glue here and there on the trees and sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds Stampin’ Glitter to add some sparkle. If you click on the photo’s you should be able to see the shimmer. Finish off by adding the sentiment!
