We all have them, we either love them or hate them. What are they? Scraps of cardstock. It’s so hard to throw them away isn’t it? Sometimes I get to a point, especially with my Whisper White Cardstock scraps, that I just toss them and start fresh.
Today’s project shows you a quick and easy way to use multiple colors of cardstock scraps to create a beautiful background and then emboss over all of the strips. This was a project I created during a Sunday Share Facebook Live. Here’s a look at the inside of my card too. Keep reading and you’ll see my video posted at the end of my post!

If you haven’t ordered the Heartfelt Bundle, you need to…even if only for the punches. I love that you can cut two hearts, a scalloped heart is a little larger then the heart so that they can be layered. Here though on my card, I did not layer them. I opted to glue them side-by-side:

The stitched hearts images that are stamped on the background use VersaMark Ink, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder and melted with a Heat Tool. I love this look!

Ready to use those scraps yet? Grab a coffee or tea and sit down to watch my video. If your electronic device doesn’t permit it, I have included a clickable link below the video:
