Happy Valentine’s Eve! I have a quick post for you today for Wednesday Wacky as I’ve got lots to do on my list for today. I created this cute Valentine’s box:

The box and lid were both created with the “Hearts Collection Framelits Dies”:

And the flower was created using multiple layers from “Pool Party & Pink Pirouette Cardstocks”:

I cut the cardstocks using the “Blossom Punch” and scrunched up all of the flowers. Un-scrunch them, stack them on top of each other and add a brad to the center. I cut 2 butterflies using the “Bitty Butterfly Punch” and glued them to my flower.

I did not keep track of my measurements when creating my box as I wasn’t sure where I was going with each step. It was an experiment in progress and it worked! The strip I used to form the sides of my box was snipped along one whole long edge every 1/4″ so that when I glued it in place, it was easy to conform to the curves of the heart shape.
