I really fell in love with a 3D project that was shared by Melissa Davies a few weeks ago and decided to try one for myself. My daughter loved it so much that she wanted one too!
Pictured below is a cute little 3D dish for your small candies:

I used a small clear candle holder for the “cup” of my 3D dish. I used 14 DSP strips cut 6″ x 3/4″. Add a Mini Glue Dot to each “wrong” end, one to glue and press in place to the bottom of the dish, curve the DSP and glue and press the other end to the inside edge of the cup:

For the top of my pumpkin I used the Autumn Accents Die to create my leaves with the following cardstocks:
- Cajun Craze
- More Mustard
- Certainly Celery.
I embossed the leaves using the following embossing folders:
- Woodgrain
- Square Lattice
- Lacy Brocade

And finally, I added one solo Pearl Jewel to the top of one leaf and filled my candy dish with autumn colored Kisses!

Oh, I LOVE the clear pot! It really shows off the Designer Paper! The leaves are a perfect addition, too!
Super fun idea. Love the addition of the candle cup. It makes a wonderful centerpiece.
Now that's clever! Thanks for sharing.
Wonderful! I'm off to WalMart to get votive holders and make some for some friends! Thanks for the inspiration!
Super cute and creative, Debbie!
Wonderful – should be really fun with a twinkly votive below (battery op of course!!)….
Love this idea Debbie. And the fall colors are terrific.
HELP!!! I loved this idea and wanted to make 2 for some friends of mine BUT I'm having a heck of a time! Glue dots are not holding the paper strips to my glass; I also tried a Tombow liquid adhesive for metal, thinking that it was also a non-porous surface, but it's not working much better. Do you have a suggestion for me??? I need them for Monday! Help needed from a follower!!!

Do you have any Sticky Strip? (double-sided tape) That would be my next try. The Glue Dots worked for me. I would add a strip along each edge. It will be time consuming but should work even better than the glue dots. Let me know how you made out!
