We Are Home & Paper Blooms Set of Six Cards! - Debbie Henderson, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

Good Morning! I am copying a post on Facebook about Dave and to let you know we are now home from the Aroostook House Of Comfort. It is so good to be home. We are blessed!

MIRACLE:
a surprising and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the work of a divine agency.

For those of you going through health or physical issues, don’t ever give up. Dr. Jones told us that Dave certainly had been granted a miracle because it is very unusual that someone in his situation goes home from the House Of Comfort. That divine agency was the Lord looking out for him with all of our prayers. Dave had amazing doctors and amazing nurses and although he was ready to give up when he was in so much pain, he prevailed.

Here’s a funny to make your day. When preparing Dave to make the journey home by ambulance, he was given additional morphine to make him sleep during the one hour+ trip. The paramedic that sat with him during the transport was someone we knew. They chatted the whole way home and had a grand ole time.

I’m going to try to post projects that I’ve had completed for quite some time. You may see me posting at different times of the day rather than first thing in the morning. Right now I don’t have time to create as we both get situated for home care nurses coming to the house to help me with Dave’s care and we are also allowing some of Dave’s friends and our family to come for short visits now that most of us have received the vaccine. Dave received his while at the comfort house (JJ one vaccine) and I received my first one of two last Friday.

I created this set of six cards during our Sale-A-Bration period that has now ended. The Paper Blooms Designer Paper was a big hit and that’s what I used on these cards. I was able to earn quite a bit of these designer paper packs and will soon have kits available for purchase that will include a kit of 10 cards and some product to use on your cards. What I want to do is get everything cut and packaged ahead of time before I offer the kits so I won’t stress. So stay tuned for that announcement.

In addition to the Paper Blooms Designer Paper on all six of these cards, I used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies for the stamped layer and the Dragonfly Garden Bundle for the stamping and punching of the beautiful dragonflies:

All six of my cards were completed with Opal Rounds on each background.

This card is a Z Fold Card which only requires one additional score and folded backwards. This 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ cardstock piece was scored at 2-1/8″ and 4-1/4″.
