This is finally my last day of double-posting from my other blog! Thanks for being so patient with me!
Watercolored embossing? I am showing you a card that I embossed with the “Manhatten Flower Textured Impressions Folder”. Once I had my embossing completed on “Pool Party Cardstock”, I then used a “Blender Pen” and “Pool Party Ink” to add highlights:

When adding highlights to an image, you don’t want to color the whole image completely. You have to try to picture where the shadows would take place in certain light conditions. For my flowers, I added the ink starting in the very corner of each petal and worked my way out. You need very little ink on the end of your blender pen when trying to achieve this. Start in the corner and brush out. If you need more ink, start in the same spot and keep brushing out until you are satisfied with the look.
Once I had all of my shading completed, I added some “Dazzling Details” by squirting just a dab in the corner of each petal and using my blender pen to spread it. Make sure you wipe your blender pen immediately so the dazzling details doesn’t remain on the tip to dry.
