How about trying your hand at stenciling? You will be amazed at how easy the process is and you’ll feel a great accomplishment once you have completed a project using the stencils below:

For this card I used Certainly Celery for the background color and sponged all the edges. For the second layer, I used the Very Vintage Jumbo Wheel inked in Close to Cocoa and again sponged the edges. I then added the stenciled image using sponge daubers, and stenciled two separate layers of the same stencil. I then added an Epoxy Brad to the center of the stencil.
To complete the card, add a 1/4″ Grosgrain ribbon in Certainly Celery. The sentiment is from the stamp set Whimsical Words.
I have other samples that were completed with stencils here.
I am also in the process of adding stencils to the entryway in our new home. I’ll post pictues when I have the room completed.
