Good Morning Everyone! For today’s project, I created a gift bag with removable card for my Upline while in Alaska. There were three of us from the same team and we gathered together for supper during one of our nights on the incentive trip to Alaska and this is what I presented to my Upline:

I used 2 pieces of 12″ x 12″ designer paper for the gift bag so that it exactly covered a photo frame that I ordered. I wanted to keep the gift bag as close in size to the frame so that it wouldn’t get ruined while traveling. I also added a decorative belly-band around the photo frame:

If you look closely at the front of the gift bag, you’ll notice that I have a card that slides into a slot on the front so the card can be removed. You can see that I’ve removed the card here in this photo:

I used the Tufted Embossing Folder as a background for one of the layers on the card. Doesn’t it look fabulous with the other layers and elements?

And this is a close-up of the belly-band around the photo frame:

For the open slot portion of the cardstock front, I used a die from the Flourish Dies and made sure not to add any adhesive below the slot so the card can be inserted and removed:

Thanks so much for visiting today and don’t forget to use my August Hostess Code when placing your online order. We have quite a few promotions going on for this month and I’ve added them all here for you:
