Welcome to the April Blog Hop for the RemARKabley Creative members! This month we are featuring the Urban Underground Bundle. For my card today, I used the Urban Underground Specialty Designer Paper and the Urban Underground Embellishments. I also added in the Nailed It stamp set and the Hexagon Embossing Folder:

I combined both products with the Nailed It stamp set because I don’t yet own the Urban District stamp set that coordinates so well with all of the items in this bundle. I stamped the sentiment on Very Vanilla Cardstock and hand-cut the hexagon shape. I then used the hand-cut hexagon as a pattern to cut two more hexagons out of the designer paper:

Did you notice my Hexagons Embossing on the background layer and how I have white lines peeking through? How did I do this? Once I embossed the Urban Underground Specialty Designer Paper layer, I left the paper layer inside of the Hexagons Embossing Folder and sanded the bumps on the designer paper. In doing it this way, while pressing and sanding, your embossing doesn’t go flat. Stampin’ Up!’s designer paper has white core in the mix so when you sand away the top layer, white peeks through the sanded areas:

Here’s a quick photo of the main items I used on my card and a listing of all Stampin’ Up! products will be included at the very end of my post:

It has been a pleasure to show you some of the products from the Urban Underground Bundle. I would like to direct you to all of the participants of our Blog Hop today. Once you visit each participant, you’ll have tons of inspiration using all of the products from the Urban Underground Bundle and more. Enjoy!
