It’s April Fools Day and I don’t have a card for you…..April Fools….I do, just kidding! So, I’ve been busy this week, super busy, and I decided to take a breather by creating a card for two challenges. I used the colors from the Global Design Project #GDP029 that you see here:

And I combined those three colors with a sketch challenge from Mojo Monday #441. I havn’t played Mojo for so long. So long that I had to go back and check and it’s been since December of 2013. That’s bad because when I need some help with a layout, Mojo is who I go to for some help. So here’s the sketch for their challenge this week:

So I took the colors and the sketch and came up with this card:

I love how these colors came together so well. What a great color combo to work with. I added designer paper, dry embossing and my 3-step roses. How fun!

I haven’t used the Picture Perfect stamp set all that much yet because I had so much to show you during Sale-A-Bration, so I’m happy to use this set for today’s card. You can see the dry embossing from the Boho Chic Embossing Folder below:

I hope you plan on visiting both challenges to view the wonderful cards by the design teams and the submissions in the galleries. Thanks for stopping by to visit me today!

A stand out card Debbie. The roses are gorgeous and everytime I see this set, I wish I had purchased it too! I love your combination of stripes and texture too. Thanks for playing at Global Design Project with us this week.
Great combination of challenges, Debbie! These flowers look amazing with these colors! You are good! Thank you so much for playing along with this week's GDP color challenge!
