Today I am going to blog to you about the technique called “Stamping Off”. If you are new to stamping, you may not know how to complete this technique or you may just not know what it is called but have seen it.
The card below is a simple card yet striking at the same time. Notice the trees and how the inking starts out dark in the center and lightens up as you peek to the right or to the left?

This technique is easy to complete. All you do is ink up your stamp, stamp the image and without reinking, stamp again:

I have 2 steps you follow in completing this card:
- I inked my stamp, stamped the image in the center of the card front and then moved over to the right, stamped again without reinking, and stamped a third time without reinking.
- I wanted to achieve the same look by moving to the left of my tree that sits in the center, so how I did that was to first ink up my stamp. Stamp on a scrap paper first and then stamp to the left of my middle tree without reinking and stamp again a third time to the left without reinking the stamp.

Card Supplies:
- Cardstock: Whisper White
- Inks: Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler
- Stamps: Evergreen, Delightful Dozen
