Tuesday Tips or Techniques-Framelits & Edgelits!

January 10, 2012 2 Comments

First, just a reminder that we at Create with Connie & Mary are still running the Early Bird Special for the Occasions Subscription. Visit today to see who is offering “Blog Candy” for a chance to win a FREE issue of the subscription!

Now on to today’s Tuesday Tips or Techniques. I have a promise for you today……..I promise you will love the new “Edgelits” & “Framelits”. I almost think I like these better than my punches! The “Framelits Dies” let you see where you are placing the design before you cut and the “Edgelits” cut unique card edges.

For my Tuesday tip today, I will be demonstrating to you how I use them. First the “Framelits”. I stamped and embossed my image below form the “Take It To Heart Stamp Set”:

I then place my “Hearts Collection Framelits Dies” where I want it to cut…….and my TIP for today is to use masking tape to secure the framelit in place:

Run through your Big Shot Machine and everything stays intact and perfectly cut:

Do the same for the “Edgelits”, find the perfect spot on your cardstock or DSP, tape in place and cut:

I just love the delicate look of these dies:

Have a great day and please come back tomorrow for Wednesday Wacky!

Great tip Deb! I'll demo that at tonight's class – my stampers will be much happier without the die slipping all over the place.
