Glossy, raised patterns printed on heavy-weight Natural paper called “Natural Composition Specialty Designer Paper”. 6 different patterns appear brown and glossy. But wait…what if you add ink? Keep reading and I’ll show you how:
This is the card I created today. The Natural Composition Specialty Designer Paper with the embossing is a kraft color to begin with. I started out with a panel measuring 3 5/8″ x 4 7/8″. Using Gumball Green Ink and a Sponge, I swirled the ink on the panel:
Notice how the embossing resists the ink color and still peeks through? I completed inking the whole panel and using a tissue, wiped off the residue from the embossing:
Here is a close-up of the completed inked panel:
The 2nd panel measures 4″ x 5 /14″ and I used Marina Mist. The background color is Island Indigo cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored and folded in half:
