I made this card for Heidi last month for her birthday. The flower is created using the 1 1/4″ Scallop Circle Punch and I’ll even show you how to complete one:

Step 1:
Cut out 15 using the 1 1/4″ Scallop Circle Punch and Pink Pirouette Cardstock:

Using your Paper Snips, snip one cut to the halfway point for each scallop circle.
Step 2:

Apply Tombow Multipurpose Glue to one scallop near the cut.
Step 3:

Overlap and join the scallops on the cut. Press in place for a few seconds to secure in place.
Step 4:

Continue Step 3 until all scallops have been cut and glued.
Step 5:

Using a hot glue gun and your Silicone Craft Sheet, apply hot glue about the size of a quarter. Make sure you leave enough room on your Silicone Craft Sheet for 3 sets of flowers.
Step 6:

Glue 7 of your scallop shapes together by pressing into the hot glue and overlapping your scallops. Allow to set.
Step 7:
Repeat Step 5 & Step 6, this time only using 5 scallop shapes:

This is what your 2nd layer of scallops should look like. Allow to set.
Step 8:

Repeat Step 5 & Step 6, this time only using 3 scallop shapes as shown above. Allow to set.
Step 9:

Once all layers have cooled and set, peel away from your craft sheet. You will notice that the glue peels right off of your Silicone Craft Sheet to reveal a flattened out hot glue…perfect for gluing to your card front.
Step 10:

Flip over the layer containing 7 scallops so that the hot glue is on the bottom. Add a dab of hot glue to the center of the scallops.
Step 10:

Press the 2nd layer of scallops in place over the hot glue and repeat for the 3rd layer of scallops. This completes your flower. Decorate the center of your flower as you like.

I added a little bit of hot glue to the center and pressed in place a Vintage Faceted Designer Button. I completed my card using left-over pieces from the Razzleberry Splash Simply Scrappin’ Kit:

Secure the flower to your card front using hot glue:

Card Supplies:
- Cardstock & DSP: Razzleberry Splash Simply Scrappin’ Kit, Whisper White
- Inks: Pink Pirouette, Night of Navy
- Tools: 1 1/4″ Scallop Circle Punch, Modern Label Punch, Silicone Craft Sheet, Big Shot Machine, Stripes Textured Impressions Folder
- Accessories: 1/2″ Scallop Dots Ribbon, Vintage Faceted Designer Button, Mini Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Misc: Hot Glue Gun
- Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Oh and one last note, yes this card can be mailed but you will need a padded envelope. I also use tissues and surround the flower for added protection. Remember, it is not a sin to pay a little bit more for postage to make someone smile!

Beautiful card. I bet Heidi loved it! Thanks for the fabulous tutorial.
Great technique. I love when a punch can be used for so many things. Thanks for sharing.
This is a fabulous card. I am totally drawn to the ribbon on the card. It is so soft and the perfect detail to accentuate your fab flower. Smiles, Elizabeth
