Have you ever heard the saying “You can dress him up but you can’t take him out”? Well, this does not apply to my project for today. I am dressing up a chocolate bar and he will be going out!
I stumbled upon a printable pattern from Woman’s Day awhile back and had bookmarked it. You know, this got me to thinking….if I could only have a full time job creating in my stamp room all day, maybe, just maybe, I could get all those “bookmarked” projects completed. Are you like me and have a bunch of stuff sitting in a “to create” folder?
Isn’t this a cute way to dress up a chocolate bar for a Halloween treat?

And if you would like to print the pattern, click HERE. You will also find one for a ghost and a dracula! So fun!
And if you look at the photo below, you will notice I added a Velcro Dot inside the wing to keep it closed. The other dot is on the outside of the 2nd wing:

He looks so mischievous behind the folded wings with just his eyes showing doesn’t he? The sentiment is from the “Monster Munchies” stamp set and I used the “Wide Oval Punch” for the shape:

Project Supplies:
- Cardstock: Basic Gray, Whisper White
- Inks: StazOn Jet Black
- Tools: Wide Oval Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Owl Punch (eyes)
- Accessories: Googlies
- Misc: Chocolate Bar, Velcro Dot
- Stamps: Monster Munchies
I entered my project in this weeks “The Great Pumpkin Blog Hop” located at Terry’s blog: “Goin’ Over The Edge”. Feel free to participate as this blog hop is open to anyone. Just make sure your project is Halloween themed and enter right below:

Oh my goodness Debbie, this is fantastic! I love the big bat wings. I think I will try to case this for our boy scout den. I think the boys would enjoy this a LOT! Thanks for sharing and the wonderful idea. And yes, like you, I wish I could play-I mean work-all day in a craft room. Wouldn't that be heavenly!
Aw, he's so cute! I love how his eyes peek out over his wings. Thanks for adding it to The Great Pumpkin Blog Hop!
Hugs,
Terry
