Thanksgiving Gratitude!

November 21, 2011 Leave a Comment

The idea for this card came from the Idea Book & Catalog from Stampin’ Up! Even though their version was a 3″ x 3″ card, I made mine into a full card:

The stamp set used is the Day of Gratitude Stamp Set. The background card layer is River Rock Cardstock. Layer #2 is Pear Pizzazz Cardstock. The wreath image is stamped in Pear Pizzazz Ink. I added the sentiment in the center of the wreath using VersaMark Ink and sprinkled with White Embossing Powder. Heat Set with Heat Tool. Add 3 acorns directly below the sentiment using More Mustard, Early Espresso and Cajun Craze Inks. Once stamping is completed, run this layer through the Big Shot Machine using the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder:

I added a small strip of Spice Cake DSP to the bottom of the card and completed my card with a More Mustard 1/2″ Scallop Dots Ribbon used on the reverse side without the dots!

Thank for popping in to see me today. Hope you have a great day!

Card Supplies:

  • Cardstock: River Rock, Pear Pizzazz
  • DSP: Spice Cake
  • Accessories: More Mustard 1/2″ Scallop Dots Ribbon
  • Inks: Pear Pizzazz, More Mustard, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, VersaMark
  • Tools: Big Shot Machine, Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder, White Embossing Powder, Heat Tool
