Happy Super Sunday! I haven’t played with Pals Paper Arts for quite some time now and I picked their color challenge for my Super Sunday today. Here are the colors:

I decided to go “punch art” for today. Since Stampin’ Up! retired a bunch of our punches that were used in punch art, I haven’t created many punch art cards lately. A great way to create spiders just in time for Halloween is by using circle punches:

I cut (4) of each color using the 1″ Circle Punch, folded them in the center and glued each half together to form the spiders bodies:

The head is cut from the 1/2″ Circle Punch and glued to the body. See those itty bitty eyes? I used a black Permanent marker to color the smallest sized Pearl Jewels. Finally, the legs are made by cutting slivers with the Small Oval Punch. How easy was that?
Now on to the sentiment:

I used the “Rock n Roll Technique” to ink up my sentiment and cut it out with the Modern Label Punch. All of the strings for each spider were colored using the coordinating ink color with a Sponge Dauber and White Baker’s Twine:

Here are all of the Stampin’ Up! supplies I used:
- Cardstock: Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Elegant Eggplant, Lucky Limeade
- Inks: Pumpkin Pie, Elegant Eggplant
- Accessories: Pearl Jewels, White Baker’s Twine
- Tools: Big Shot Machine, Spider Web Textured Impressions Folder, Labels Collection Framelits, 1″ Circle Punch, 1/2″ Circle Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots, Modern Label Punch, Small Oval Punch, Sponge Dauber
- Stamps: Wicked Cool
