Welcome to a Saturday Blog Hop at Create with Connie & Mary. Shades of Green is on tap for our hop this week. What perfect colors to use on a St. Patrick’s Day card:

I turned a Valentine’s-themed stamp set into a shamrock. How neat huh? I used the stamp sets Jar Of Love, the Heart Happiness, Teeny Tiny Wishes and the Lots To Love Framelits Dies. Here’s a close-up of the layers and height of the small hearts:

The colors I used are Whisper White, Lemon Lime Twist and Garden Green. Here’s a listing of the layers:
- Card Base: Garden Green 4-3/4″ x 9-1/2″. Score in the center at 4-3/4″.
- Layer #2: Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock 4″ x 4″. Glue to card base.
- Layer #3: Whisper White Cardstock 3-3/4″ x 3-3/4″. Stamp the stem from the Jar Of Love using Garden Green Ink. Stamp the large hearts from the Heart Happiness stamp set using Garden Green Ink and in the shape of the shamrock by stamping three of the hearts. Stamp the smaller heart in the center of the large heart using Lemon Lime Twist Ink. Glue to card front.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set using Garden Green Ink on Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock. Cut out using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies and glue in place using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Hearts: Stamp three of the small hearts from the Heart Happiness stamp set using Garden Green Ink on Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock. Cut out using the Lots To Love Framelits Dies and glue all three inside the large hearts using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
