My card for today features the Flurry of Wishes stamp set:

I added a floating snowflake to the opening in the front so that it dangles through the hole:

I used all four snowflake images…2 on the back layer and 2 for my floating snowflake:

Here are the steps to creating this card:
- Card Base: Pool Party Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score in the center at 5-1/2″ and fold. Using the Circles Collection Framelits Dies, (the hole is 3-1/4″ wide), cut the hole 1/2″ from the top. Stamp the sentiment at the bottom of the card using Chocolate Chip Ink. Emboss the front using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder (Holiday Catalog).
- Inside layer: Whisper White Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to the inside of your card base. Fold your card closed so you can stamp in the hole from the front. Using the Flurry of Wishes stamp set, stamp the largest snowflake using Chocolate Chip Ink. Stamp the 2nd snowflake over the 1st snowflake using Wild Wasabi Ink.
- Snowflake: Stamp the small snowflakes twice, once with Chocolate Chip Ink and once with Wild Wasabi Ink. Cut out using the Snow Flurry Punch. Glue a piece of Old Olive Baker’s twine to the back of one of the larger snowflakes. Using the other large snowflake, glue to the back of the first snowflake so that they are back-to-back. Glue the two smaller snowflakes using Stampin’ Dimensionals to the two large snowflakes. I glued the opposite colors to each other. Glue the snowflake to the back of the cardstock layer with the hole at the very top. What I did to make it line up correctly is place my card front on my counter in the closed position. I then positioned my snowflake in the center of the snowflake in the background and pressed down on the baker’s twine to glue it in place for perfect placement. I then added a small strip of cardstock measuring 1/2″ x 4-1/4″ to cover the Baker’s Twine on the inside of the card.
- Accessories: Add Rhinestone Jewels to the front of the card and in the center of each snowflake. Tie a bow using the Garden Green Striped Ribbon and glue to the top of the dangling snowflake with a Glue Dot.
