I used the Smooshing Technique on the background of this card with multiple colors. I used Petal Pink, Daffodil Delight and Pool Party for my ink colors. This technique is so easy. All you do is press an ink pad onto a surface such as our Silicone Craft Sheet to add ink and spritz some water on the ink. Take something firm like an old gift card to pick up the ink on the edge and swipe it on the cardstock or in my case, the layer of Watercolor Paper. Pick up ink each time and swipe on different areas of your card. Repeat with as many colors as you like and overlapping them.

- Card Base: Pool Party Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
- Layer #2: Cinnamon Cider Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to card base.
- Layer #3: Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper 5″ x 3-3/4″. Add ink using the Smooshing Technique with Pool Party, Daffodil Delight and Petal Pink Ink as described above. Allow to dry. Stamp the dotted image on the background using Pool Party Ink. Set aside.
- Layer #4: Ice Cream Corner Designer Paper 3-3/4″ x 1-3/4″. Glue to the bottom of the watercolor paper. Wrap Blushing Bride Metallic Ribbon around the watercolor paper and tie into a double-know. Trim the ends. Glue to card front using Foam Adhesive Sheets or Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer #5: Basic White Cardstock 3-3/4″ x 1″. Trim the ends with the Banners Pick A Punch. Stamp the small sentiment at the bottom right using Cinnamon Cider Ink. Stamp the larger sentiment using Pool Party Ink. Glue to card front below the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Ice Cream Cones: Stamp the ice cream cone images using Petal Pink, Pool Party and Cinnamon Cider Inks. Cut with the punch and glue to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Ice Cream Corner Sprinkles to the background.
