While Dave and I were in Thailand for the Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip, Stampin’ Up! had a Hospitality Room full of goodies and you could grab one of these goodie bags to add snacks to, to take with you:

I found out after we arrived home that I could have grabbed some to take home with me to give out to customers and downline. My new demonstrator friend Bonnie O’Neill (Hi Bonnie!) offered to send me some to use when she found out I had not grabbed any. What a sweetie! So the goodie bags arrived in time for me to pack with my homemade chocolate chip cookies for the girls:

Bonnie also included a homemade card that is so pretty I just had to include it in my post today. Here is her card:

I just love this card…thanks Bonnie!

Now to continue on to my Shoe Box Swap. So for those of you that never participated in one of these, you first design a card that takes 10-15 minutes to create and assemble. The next step is to cut cardstock layers needed for everyone attending and insert them into a shoe box with all the items you need to complete the cards. Stamps, Inks, Punches, Dies, Embellishments, etc. Here are photo’s of the shoe boxes and I did miss one somehow:

And now I will show you all of the cards. We all created one of each. This is the card I designed using the new Good Tidings stamp set, the Merry Music Designer Paper and the Foil Snowflakes from the upcoming Holiday Catalog:

Looks like so much fun! I haven't done a shoebox swap in a loooong time. My little group that meets at IHOP used to do them. Nowadays it is always me making the card and providing the materials, which I didn't mind but that last 2 times I brought the same and the supplies and then the ladies wanted to TALK and not create. I'm so over that.
What a bummer comment this is, huh? I didn't mean to bring this awesome post down. You actually have inspired me to try again next month. I got in the habit of not prepping, just bringing what I needed and prepping while folks talked (because you never know how many will show up so I didn't want to prep for 13 and have 4 show) but if I make a Christmas card…. why I certainly could use any extras that don't get made. Well, now you've made me excited to play with my little stamp club again, so see, not a bummer comment. Just a long winded one….
