Welcome to a Saturday Blog Hop at Create with Connie & Mary. Our theme this week is Shades of Green. I always have fun creating Monochromatic cards. Now keep in mind that in order for me to keep up with my team duties, I always work ahead. On this card you will see that I used the Butterfly Bijou Designer Paper that is now sold out. I can’t believe how quickly this paper disappeared on us!

I used the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle for my pretty butterflies:

When I glued them to my card front, I used Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the center of each body so that I could “flap” the wings. Aren’t the butterflies gorgeous in Just Jade Cardstock and Just Jade Ink?

Card Recipe:

• Card Base: Just Jude Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″. 
• Layer #2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to card base. 
• Layer #3: Butterfly Bijou Designer Paper 5″ x 3-3/4″. Glue to card front. 
• Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment using Just Jade Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Cut with the Tailored Tag Punch and glue with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the left and about 1″ from the bottom. 
• Butterflies: Stamp the butterflies using Just Jade Ink on Just Jade Cardstock and cut out with the die. Add Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the body, pinch the wings forward and glue to card front.
• Bling: Add Pearl Basic Jewels to the body of each butterfly.
