First off, did you notice my new blog header? Fancy That Jane designed my blog header, signature and watermark. She will also be working on some sidebar buttons for me, coming soon! I’m so excited! I hope you like it as much as I do. I wanted to have a lot of white space on my blog to make it easier for reading and keep it clean looking.
These are my new Stamp Club projects for my two clubs. This month I focused on the large background stamps on all three of my cards. All three of the cards are also Christmas-themed. For those of you that are part of my long-distance club. your kits will go out to you once your club order is placed.

What was really ironic as I demonstrated was how everyone that attended my local club, had missed all of these background stamps in the catalog. I myself, always look for these backgrounds stamps in each new catalog because I am usually fascinated with them!
For Card #1 we used the Marbled background stamp. I showed my club members how to ink the large stamp using Stamping Sponges and multiple ink pads:

The background looks fabulous with the addition of the the little drummer boy from the Musical Instruments Dies and the sentiment and floral sprays from the Musical Season stamp set.

Card #2 uses the Burlap background stamp that was inked with Soft Sky Ink:

And the beautiful, layered die cuts from the Bethlehem Edgelits Dies along with the stamped images from the Night In Bethlehem stamp set:

My final card is stamped with the Tree Rings background stamp using VersaMark Ink and sprinkled with White Embossing Powder. The Heat Tool was used to melt the powder:

I also colored the Pearl Jewels with a Permanent marker to coordinate with the Berry Burst Ink color:

The hadmark was the first thing I noticed and it's beautiful! And the cards are fantastic!
All of these cards are beautiful, Debbie. Each one is so interesting. I love those background stamps, but like others had not noticed them in the catalog. Glad I don't have to choose a favorite!! Enjoy your day!
Love the new look!
🙂
Looks great!!!
I did notice your new blog header. At first I thought I was in the wrong place. Love the cards! The Bethlehem scene really is quite striking. I am drawn to that stamp set. It's no bueno for me though, although it could be good for giving folks a jolt coming from a heathen like me!
Love your new look. The cards are fabulous. I enjoy getting your emails daily:)
Debbie, your new blog header is so pretty!
I especially like the Night of Bethlehem card.
