I really like how this card turned out!
I first diagonal-cut layered “Rose Red cardstock” and “Very Vanilla cardstock” over the background layer of “Early Espresso cardstock”. I then punched a circle in the center with the “2 1/2″ Circle Punch”. I punched out a bunch of flowers with the “Boho Blossoms Punch” in “Rose Red cardstock” and layered them over the same color:
I added another layer of “Very Vanilla cardstock” inside the card and stamped the tree, bird and leaves from the “Season of Friendship” stamp set. For the leaves I stamped by alternating the inks with fresh ink from my ink pad and then stamping again without reinking. This creates the faded look of the leaves:
I used my “Color Spritzer Tool” with an “Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker” to sprinkle a little bit of color over the stamped images:
Add a few hand-cut leaves to the front of the card and finish off by adding some “Pearl Jewels” to the flowers and leaves. Notice how I stamped the little bird image with “Tempting Turquoise ink”? He is the solo image stamped in this color and “pops”. Sometimes adding one element on a card in a different color really adds a focal point! Card Supplies:
