Hello and welcome to a March Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop! We are all scrapbookers that have joined forces this month and we are all featuring scrapbook pages using “Mixed Media”. Some of you may not know this….I attended college as an Art Major so I love experimenting with color and other elements. My featured photos are of our beagle named Ruger:
I didin’t want to use too many photos to cover up my beautiful mixed media layers. Can you spot them all? I have quite a few different ones on the page for today. I’ll list them right after these three photos. I wanted to capture close-ups to show you some details:
Did you find them all? Let me list them for you:
- Brusho Crystal Colors
- Embossing Paste
- Copper Embossing
- Bokeh using sponged Whisper White Ink
- Stamped images
The copper embossing actually was done on some doilies that were cut with the Doily Builder Thinlits Dies. I cut out the doilies with Thick Whisper White Cardstock and pounced on them with VersaMark Ink and then sprinkled with Copper Embossing Powder. Gorgeous!
I hope you enjoyed my scrapbook page for today. I plan on adding a 2nd page to coordinate with this one and featuring our two kitty cats. Please make sure you visit all of my teammates today. You are currently visiting Debbie Henderson and you can click on the link below to visit Marga Bultena’s blog (note that there is a 5 second pause as you click through each blog):
