Hello and Welcome to our May Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop! We are all so glad you are joining us today and I hope you plan on visiting all of my teammates. Our theme this month was to create a Masculine project:
My hubby Dave loves his Kubota tractor and he’s been doing a lot of yard work over the past few years. When he retired in 2014, this was his retirement gift to himself when we sold our business. He’s been having a blast and I use it myself quite often. I have eight flower gardens on our property so the tractor comes in handy. I incorporated the orange color of the tractor and nature colors in my 2-page spread this month.
The next few photos show you close-ups of each page with all of the layered stamping, die-cuts, fussy-cuts and embellishments I used:
The Gallery Grunge and Geared-Up Garage stamp sets were both perfect to create some background elements and then I added die-cuts from the Garage Gears Dies and Well Written Dies. If you keep scrolling, you’ll see some close-up photos of all the details:
For the sentiment and heart image, I used the A Good Man stamp set, stamped in Memento Black on Whisper White Cardstock and fussy-cut:
