When the new Occasions Mini Catalog first made it’s debut, I looked at this stamp set and DSP and thought to myself……hmmmmmm, I don’t think I would use this, why would I purchase this set and matching paper? So I passed on ordering both items on my pre-order. About a month went by and I started viewing cards on other demo’s blogs and thought……..hmmmm, I have to get this set! Funny how you see things in a different perspective when you actually witness what others are creating! This card was created for a challenge I participate in each week called Stampin’ Connection Featured Stamper Challenge. We are given a gallery to view of a certain demo chosen for that week. We then pick a card from her gallery to copy but change at least 2 items. The gallery we picked from this week was Jan Tink’s.
These two pictures are close-ups so you can see the wonderful detail. The DSP matches perfectly with the stamped images. I added a little pizazz to the card by using my Mat Pack & Paper Piercer and adding holes along the edge of the stamped image. I also stamped a trio of clouds and hand-cut all of them, added Stampin’ Dimensionals and once carefully placed on my card, the clouds look like they are floating.
